The Eli Milk Thief was developed by the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) to reduce labour time in herd testing. An easy-to-use sampling tool, it can be installed or removed in less than one minute per bail.
The Milk Thief takes industry standard 55mm outside diameter sampling flasks, typically 155mm or 120mm tall. It offers three different sizes of sampling for the lowest to the highest production herds, with 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm sampling sizes (other sizes available on request). Suitable for both Rotary and Herringbone sheds, its universal design means it can be used for horizontal or vertical sampling.
