This installation includes a main SA-ACR (Stand Alone Automatic Cluster Remover) on the left hand side of the bale and a cow retention bar cylinder (BB-ACR) on the right hand side. The signal is sent by the main unit to the BB-ACR at the end of milking which then allows the cow retention bar to be lifted up and release the cows. If milking is not finished when the bale reaches the platform bridge, the cow is retained for one more round. Note that there are no dummy bales on this platform, the space was limited and the display/keypads were fitted and protected by a shroud fitted to the vertical bar between each bale. Eli provided all the steelwork, bracketing, additional vacuum and clean air lines for this installation as well as the cow retention bars.
